This October, Lois Schneider Realtor will celebrate 35 years of business…35 years of bringing you to new homes and new memories, and helping you close the door on the past and move on to the future. And in 35 years, we have always known one thing for sure….there is NO place like HOME!
That’s why it seemed perfectly fitting that we sponsor the Summit Department of Community Programs “Screen on the Green” presentation of The Wizard of Oz. This classic 1939 film is still a favorite today. We believe it has something to do with that enduring message–no matter where you go, no matter what you do, no matter what you think lies “Over the Rainbow,” there really is nothing like the warmth, security, and comfort of your own home.
So won’t you join us in the Land of Oz on Thursday night, July 14th? The movie starts at 8 pm, so grab a picnic basket, bring your “munchkins,” and maybe even your little dog, too, and follow the yellow brick road right down to the Village Green (that would be “Emerald” green, of course). And, should we encounter a storm…or perhaps a twister…the screening will be postponed until July 25th! And when the evening is over, say goodnight to your fellow scarecrows, lions and tin men, click your heels three times, and know that there really is “no place like home.”
